Demo and test access
First phase of our collaboration — initial contact, a demo store, and dashboard test access
This article walks through the first phase of our collaboration: getting in touch, the demo store we build for you, and trying it out.
1. Initial contact
Reach out to us by email at info@putiikkipalvelu.fi or through the contact form on our website. Tell us briefly about your company and what you sell — we use that information to build the demo store in the next step.
2. Demo store
Based on your initial contact, we build a quick demo store: an example of what your store could look like. The demo isn't a finished, fully customized version of your store — it's a directional preview that gives you a feel for the platform.
3. Demo preview
You'll get a demo link where you can see your store as customers would. The link is temporary and excluded from search engine indexing, so you can safely share it with your team or close ones for feedback.
4. Dashboard test access
In addition to the storefront demo, you get test access to the dashboard at test.putiikkipalvelu.fi. Your email serves as the username, and you'll receive your own login credentials.
From the dashboard you can:
- Browse products and categories
- Try managing orders and customers
- Explore settings, reports, and other features
The same test environment is also used by our developer. During the build phase, they create test categories and products in the dashboard to check how the store looks in different situations — so you may see these as work progresses. They're part of the development process.
Note
Payment methods and shipping integrations can't be set up in test mode. Payments use the provider's test credentials, which simulate transactions without any real money moving.
5. Meeting and contract
If you want to continue after trying the demo, we set up a meeting to go over the details and sign a contract. The meeting covers:
- What features and customizations you need
- Timeline and pricing
- Shipping methods, payment providers, and other practical matters
Once the contract is signed, we start building the actual store.
Good to know
Work done in the test store is migrated to production and onto your own domain when the store is ready to launch!
The next phase covers creating the store settings.
